Notes From the Trenches eBook Chris Martineau

This book may not be for everybody, as it's somewhat political. I am definitely more to the left than the author is (I don't mind paying taxes if I know it's going to good things, like healthcare for poor people), however that doesn't really matter because Chris talks about something I'm a huge advocate of: rebelling against the employee / boss dynamic, which is a bizarre type of modern accepted slavery. I think everybody should be independent contractors. I refuse to get a normal job, and I'm an entrepreneur until either I'm rich or I die trying. In addition, I refuse to hire any full time "employees" because I don't want to participate in that broken system. We should all make money based on our merit of the job, and then move to the next job versus the craziness, fees, and weird social dynamic of employees. And, Chris is on the same page, and that makes this a very good business book that's up my alley (and maybe yours too).

Notes From the Trenches eBook Chris Martineau Reviews

Bought more than one copy - would-be entrepreneurs need this book.
Great read for anyone looking to start a business or needing information to grow your small business. This book is obviously written by some one who has "been there and done that".
This book lays out the case why it makes total sense to start a business, both from a tax standpoint and to achieve personal fulfillment. It also is really interesting piece of political history,
I loved the way that this book is worded and put together! Great insite very well written and very easy to read ! This is a must read for all small business owner !
The book is entertaining and has useful information. One improvement would be to include page numbers and an index to search specific information. Probably a better digital format type of book where the computer can help search terms. Chris is active on FB and provides excellent commentary to readers on that platform as well.
If you are just starting your own business, or are thinking about it, BUY THIS BOOK. You will not be disappointed.
MOST CREDIBLE!!! Chris has combined not only the reasons for and the mechanics of prosperity, but also the motivation to pursue it! Having taken the plunge in 1985 (following my USAF career) I can heartily endorse this book as an excellent example for those folks who have the 'guts' to pursue their dream. He most truthfully depicts the potential shortfalls, yet he guides the reader to avoid the same. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who wishes to break free of the drudgery of "making money for the 'other guy' ."

Here it is, in black and white, for ya, folks. Don't squander the opportunity!
